Symposium on Genetics of Reproduction

The NBCEC Symposium on Genetics of Reproduction was held on December 4-5, 2009.

This meeting addressed topics in the prediction of genetic merit of animals for reproductive performance traits. Topics focused on alternative phenotypic measures of reproduction, the economics of reproduction, genetic evaluations and projects designed to develop DNA marker tests for reproductive traits.
